Mobile Application: The KLAP app does not create user accounts, does not collect personal data, and does not track you. Everything stays on your device.

Website: We only collect data (Name and Email) when you voluntarily submit it via our Contact forms.

3. App Data (Mobile Application)

The app saves:

  • Your voice recordings.
  • Pictures you add.
  • Drawings you create.
  • App Passcode (for Parent Dashboard).
  • Simple settings (like colour preferences).

4. Where is App data stored?

All your files are stored locally on the device. If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is securely stored in your private iCloud account. Nobody can see, hear, or access any of your recordings or photos.

5. App Permissions

  • Microphone:Used only to record your voice when you press & hold the record button.
  • Photos:Allows you to import personal photos for learning cards and templates, and saves your artwork to the Camera Roll.

6. Kids & Security

KLAP is built for kids and families. The app doesn't collect location data, advertising IDs, or usage stats. There are no social media links within the child interface.

7. Deleting App Data

You are in control. You can delete any recording or picture directly in the app. Deleting the app removes all local data.

While the app is private, our website allows you to contact support. This section applies to data submitted via this website.

What we collect & Legal Basis

  • Contact FormWe collect your Name, Email, and Message.
    Legal Basis: Legitimate Interest. We need this information to respond to your inquiries and provide support.
  • Pricing Localization (IP Address)We utilize a third-party service to detect your approximate location (IP address) solely for the purpose of displaying the correct currency and pricing for your region. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored.
    Legal Basis: Legitimate Interest. To provide accurate product information relevant to your location.

Data Retention

We practice data minimization:

  • Form Submissions: Form submission data processed via our email providers is purged every 30 days to ensure your data is not held longer than necessary.

Third Parties & International Transfers

  • EmailJS: We use EmailJS to securely transmit your form submissions to our team.

We use trusted service providers which may process data in the United States. We rely on their standard data protection addendums and security measures to ensure your data remains secure during transmission and storage.
